What Should We Do In The Workplace Without Motivation?
Today, I want to share with you three of my favorite and most practical skills to help you find momentum.
1. charge for ten minutes. Physical exercise
The specific steps are as follows:
Find a quiet place to sit down, close your eyes and ask yourself the following two questions:
1) if I continue to live according to the existing state, what will my life be like five years from now?
2) what kind of bad life would my life become? What would my friends be like?
It may be uncomfortable to do so, but try to vividly depict the negative scenes and results in your mind in order to effectively stimulate your motivation and make positive changes.
Then ask yourself:
1) what will my life be like if I change myself and stick to it for a year? If I insist on it for five years?
2) if I change myself and persist, not only me, but also those I love, how will their lives improve?
When asked about these two groups of questions, try to find out the details and vivid pictures of the future, and find out what personal factors are causing them to make these changes.
For example, having a better figure can make me more optimistic and energetic. This is good, but spend a few minutes to find that deeper, more personal inner drive. The answer may be that I want to make changes to ensure my health, because if I don't do that, I can't have enough energy to play with my children when they are young. And when he grows up, I will have no time to accompany him every day because of busy work.
If I want to make changes in my spending habits, it may be because I have always wanted to go to Egypt to see Pyramid, or to go to Maldives with my favorite people in the world.
Please write down the most original and deepest reasons and stick it to a place you will see everyday.
2. let others drive. Influence Own
Another simple way to get yourself back to power is to tap the sources and perspectives of other people's motivation.
Chat with people around you, talk about their dreams, and how they inspire themselves to achieve their dreams step by step.
But don't just be limited to people you know in real life.
For example, I would motivate myself by listening to an audio book from Brian Tracy or Wayne Dale (Wayne Dyer), or reading a chapter in my favorite personal growth book, or going to see the articles in my favorite blog, Bohn Tracey.
As far as my experience is concerned, it takes only five to ten minutes to help you change your mindset and rediscover your motivation.
3. start with what you want to do. power I came to see you.
Although the two methods mentioned above are very effective, it is also unavoidable to meet with them at any time. At this time, what should I do? Sometimes the simplest need is to take a rest and recharge. Or, like I did in some morning without spirit and motivation, I would not start to manage the motivation, but still start my day's work. My practice is to finish a small part every time, and pay attention to that part of my work wholeheartedly. For example, I will tell myself that in the next three minutes, I will write papers or modify the new topics I have prepared. When this step is completed, I will make new tasks and focus on this task until it is completed. At the very beginning, it would be boring to do so, but this is a step that you can accept. Of course, this situation will not always be maintained. One step will be simpler, and it may be more meaningful. Step by step, motivation will keep pace with my steps. I will start to enjoy my work and find pleasure in my work. It's normal that we won't feel energetic every single day. In this case, we can start our work a little bit, and soon, passion and motivation will follow.
