The head of the fabric store said that they mainly process raw silk into jacquard fabric. Since the "national style" clothing became popular, the order of jacquard fabric has been placed at the end of the year. In the workshop of a silk enterprise in Hai'an, Jiangsu, the reporter also saw a busy scene.

There are four processes for raw silk to become silk: winding, milling, warping and weaving. On July 5, the price of Grade 3A raw silk was 502200 yuan per ton, up more than 13% year on year.

Since last year, some enterprises have developed the technology of artificial feed silkworm rearing and are gradually promoting it. The real-time scene of the intelligent silkworm rearing workshop shows that the temperature and humidity are constant throughout the year, and the use of intelligent equipment also greatly reduces the manual workload.

A factory sericulture enterprise in Shengzhou, Zhejiang, has realized automation from feeding and production, cocoon picking to production equipment and washing of utensils. The reporter learned that the feed is made of mulberry leaf meal, soybean meal meal, corn meal, trace elements, etc., of which mulberry leaf is still an important raw material.

According to the data, in 2023, Zhejiang Province will produce 14650 tons of silkworms on full age artificial diet, doubling year on year, accounting for 58.37% of the province's total cocoon output.
