Recently, "Weixian Tubu" in Xingtai City, Hebei Province was approved by the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office to become a geographical indication certification trademark.

The trademark of "Weixian Native Cloth" was applied for registration by Weixian Traditional Handicraft Association. The application category is 24 categories, including textiles, bedding and towels.

Also known as "coarse cloth", homespun cloth is carefully woven by simple working people with pure cotton as raw material, using original spinning wheels and wooden looms one shuttle at a time. Weixian native cloth textile has a long history, and it rose and developed simultaneously with the introduction of cotton planting. The textile technology of Weixian native cloth is complex and has many processes. In 2014, Weixian County's indigenous textile technology was declared as a national intangible cultural heritage. Its cultural and creative products have received unanimous praise from all walks of life.
