   1、 Background of intelligent manufacturing  

At present, China's manufacturing industry has entered a new era of high-quality development, intelligent manufacturing is the only way to achieve high-quality development. Intelligent manufacturing is the product of the deep integration and development of advanced information technology and advanced manufacturing technology. With the innovation and development of technology, the process of continuous iteration and evolution of the whole manufacturing system is presented. According to different development stages and technical characteristics, intelligent manufacturing is divided into three paradigms: digitalization, networking and intellectualization. Digitalization is the basis of intelligent manufacturing; networking is the interconnection and integration of equipment using industrial Internet and industrial cloud technology on the basis of digitalization; and intellectualization is the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and advanced manufacturing technology, It has become the core driving force of a new round of industrial revolution.

Intelligent manufacturing is a large system, which runs through all links of the whole life cycle of products, production and service. It reshapes the production factors and production mode of manufacturing industry, and causes significant and profound changes in the development concept, value form and industrial ecology of manufacturing industry.

   2、 Production characteristics of industrial textiles   

The industrial textile industry has a good foundation for the implementation of intelligent manufacturing, and the development of the industry also has a huge demand for intelligent manufacturing.

Industrial textiles are mainly intermediate products. Except for some products (such as personal protective equipment), they all present the characteristics of process production, especially the production of nonwovens.

The production of industrial textiles has a high degree of automation, single line production capacity is relatively large, and the investment amount of production equipment is relatively high. Especially with the improvement of domestic equipment level, the level of automation and digitization of the production line has been significantly improved. With the gradual acceleration of production line production speed and the gradual improvement of single line production capacity, higher requirements are put forward for product quality control. The energy consumption in the production process is high, and energy occupies a high proportion in the cost structure. Therefore, the quality control and energy consumption control of industrial textiles production is a key issue in the industry.

At present, with the rapid growth of China's industrial textiles industry, the rapid adjustment of industrial structure, and the continuous emergence of new technologies, new products and new models, enterprises have a great demand for advanced management and advanced manufacturing. The phenomenon that labor is difficult and expensive in manufacturing industry is becoming increasingly prominent. Enterprises need to implement intelligent transformation to reduce employment, improve working environment and reduce labor intensity. The traditional management means and production mode have been difficult to adapt to the expanding enterprise scale and the demand of enterprise fine management; With the aggravation of market competition and the pressure of industrial upgrading, enterprises need to constantly improve product quality, reduce costs and improve the level of customer service. The effect of traditional methods has almost reached the limit in these aspects. Industrial textile enterprises need to cooperate more closely with institutional users in product R & D and application, and constantly develop new business models.

   3、 The work of Intelligent Manufacturing in the industry

Since 2016, the industrial textiles industry has officially carried out intelligent manufacturing in the industry, taking nonwovens as the key field of intelligent industry, and taking informatization and digital construction as an important means to improve the advanced manufacturing capacity of the industry. In the process of implementation, high standard planning, layout in advance, and phased promotion have achieved phased results.

China Industrial Textiles Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as "the association") has conducted a large number of enterprise research and held many seminars to understand the current situation and demand of enterprise intelligence, analyze the main mode and implementation path of Intelligent Manufacturing in the industry, and determine the main tasks of Intelligent Manufacturing in the 13th five year plan period Implementation plan for intelligent manufacturing in nonwovens industry.

The association has carried out the pilot demonstration work of intelligent manufacturing of nonwoven enterprises in the industry. According to the situation of enterprises in equipment, information construction and internal management, and in combination with the wishes of enterprises, the association has carried out two batches of intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration work in the industry, with a total of 11 enterprises and an industrial cluster participating in the pilot demonstration work of industrial intelligent manufacturing. The association cooperates with Fucheng street of Funing County, Jiangsu Province to jointly build an intelligent filter material Park, and promote the construction of industrial Internet platform and intelligent transformation of key enterprises in the park. The association organizes experts to diagnose the intelligent manufacturing situation of pilot units and provide professional suggestions, connect with excellent supplier resources, and track the implementation progress of intelligent manufacturing projects every year. After three years of efforts, the units participating in the pilot project have made significant progress in the construction of intelligent production line, intelligent warehouse, intelligent factory and industrial Internet platform in the park. The three member enterprises of the association were selected as the intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration enterprise and the integrated standardization and new mode application enterprise of the Ministry of industry and information technology.

In 2017 and 2019, the association held industry intelligent manufacturing conferences in Foshan and Chuzhou respectively. Authoritative experts were invited to introduce the latest technologies and solutions in the field of intelligent manufacturing, and excellent enterprises were invited to introduce the experience and experience of intelligent manufacturing project implementation, so as to promote the implementation of more practical technologies and solutions in the industry.

The association has established a team of intelligent manufacturing suppliers including advanced equipment enterprises, automation enterprises and software enterprises, and has established a strategic cooperation relationship with Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. to help it promote the application of intelligent equipment in the field of geotechnical construction textiles and spunlaced nonwovens. Intelligent manufacturing solution providers provide a large number of mature and affordable equipment and software to the industry, which plays an important role in promoting the industry's digital and information construction.

The association timely promotes the standardization of intelligent manufacturing. The industry is relatively mature in the construction of intelligent production line and spunlaced nonwovens intelligent factory, and has achieved certain results. In order to promote the intelligent work in the two important fields of spinning melt nonwovens and spunlaced nonwovens, the association invited key enterprises to take the lead in the preparation of two group standards, namely, the evaluation of intelligent manufacturing line of spinning and melting nonwovens and the intelligent factory of spunlaced nonwovens. At present, the first draft of these two standards has been completed and will be consulted in the industry.

   4、 Status of intelligent manufacturing industry

   (1) Informatization and automation construction

Management informatization and equipment automation are the basis of intelligent manufacturing. In terms of informatization, we should focus on promoting the application of ERP software in enterprises. With the gradual maturity of ERP software independently developed in China and the promotion of various cloud services, the cost of ERP procurement and implementation has been greatly reduced. Therefore, in large and medium-sized enterprises in the industry, ERP software has a high degree of popularization, which plays an important role in standardizing enterprise management process and improving operational efficiency.

In terms of automation construction, the industry focuses on promoting the application of the whole process automation production line of Nonwovens in the industry, especially the application of domestic equipment. At present, the automatic silo has been applied in spunbonded nonwovens enterprises, which greatly improves the work efficiency and ensures the consistency of raw material quality; In terms of polyester spunbonded nonwovens, enterprises have adopted melt direct spinning spunbonded process, which greatly reduces logistics costs and energy consumption. Spunlaced nonwovens enterprises have begun to use AGV car for raw material delivery, which effectively reduces the labor intensity. The development of automatic starch adding and compounding equipment in tire base cloth production enterprises has improved the production site environment and significantly reduced the working strength.

Nonwovens on-line detection, automatic rewinding, slitting, packaging, labeling and transportation are more labor-intensive processes in nonwovens production, so they are also the focus of automation construction. The on-line inspection and automatic rewinding system for nonwovens developed by Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. has been widely used in tire base fabric industry and achieved good results. Spunbonded and spunlaced nonwovens enterprises also realize the automation of this link by selecting advanced equipment, which can reduce the labor force and collect a large number of production data in real time.

In the production process of filter bags and safety protection textiles, enterprises have begun to use a large number of automatic hanging system and intelligent cutting system, combined with advanced software system, which improves the production efficiency and saves a lot of raw materials.

   (2) Digital and network transformation

At the same time, the enterprise carries out the digital transformation and network construction of production equipment at the same time. Nonwovens production line has a good foundation of digital transformation. Enterprises with weaving process can collect configuration parameters, status, production data and operation process data by installing sensors on old equipment, and transmit data through wired network, WiFi and 5g.

MES system is the core of enterprise digitalization and networking. Most of the enterprises in the intelligent construction industry have purchased MES system. Some nonwovens equipment enterprises provide some functional modules of MES system along with the production line, and some software enterprises develop MES system for nonwovens industry. The MES systems purchased by enterprises generally include production scheduling, equipment management, energy management, production document management, etc.

The MES system of industrial enterprises basically realizes the integration with ERP system, realizes the integrated management and seamless connection of production, procurement, finance, sales and storage information of enterprises, breaks the information isolated island within enterprises, and makes important data and processes visible and controllable.

Intelligent storage system has strong versatility, relatively mature technology, and more suppliers, so it has become the key construction field of enterprises and achieved more achievements.

Based on the implementation of digitalization and networking, the enterprises carry out the construction of intelligent workshops, and some leading enterprises carry out the construction of intelligent factories. Jinan Yongxin new material science and Technology Co., Ltd. has cooperated with universities and central enterprises to build an intelligent spunlaced nonwovens factory, forming a reproducible and widely used model of spunlaced nonwovens intelligent factory.

   (3) Construction of industrial Internet platform

It can display the technical parameters of the products produced by the enterprises, monitor the product quality in real time, protect the interests of the terminal market, and help local enterprises actively seize the market. In the future, the platform will also introduce more industry application software and services to provide market information, product quality, product development and other services to enterprises in the region.

   (4) Difficulties and problems of Intelligent Manufacturing in current industry

The industrial textiles industry has achieved phased achievements in intelligent manufacturing, especially in the digital and network transformation has formed a more mature model. However, there are still many difficulties and challenges in the promotion of intelligent manufacturing industry and the development of intelligent manufacturing to a higher level.

   first, The investment of intelligent manufacturing is large and there are many uncertain factors. The industrial textile industry is mainly composed of small and medium-sized enterprises. The budget for intelligent manufacturing is not high. The enterprise project decision-making is very cautious, and the project scale is too small to attract powerful large suppliers to provide services. secondly, There are many kinds of industrial textiles, complex process, and the demand for intelligent manufacturing varies greatly, which makes it difficult for suppliers, especially software enterprises, to accurately understand the industry production process and grasp the needs of enterprises, which also increases the development cost. Third, As the intelligent transformation involves the professional knowledge of equipment, information and software system, enterprises lack of professionals in these fields, so it is difficult to grasp the overall intelligent manufacturing scheme and plan the system, and it is difficult to further promote the intelligent manufacturing project. Fourth, There are a large number of old equipment and equipment from different equipment manufacturers, especially imported equipment. The data interface standards of these equipment are different, and even some equipment manufacturers do not open the interface, which brings great difficulty to the digital transformation of enterprises, and also affects the effect of data collection. Fifth, In terms of industrial intelligence, the industrial textile industry, like most industrial fields, is still in the exploratory stage, lacking industry big data model, basic data, analysis framework and application cases, and the manufacturing system does not have the ability of autonomous learning and complex system analysis.

   5、 Prospect of Intelligent Manufacturing in the 14th five year plan

"The 14th five year plan" is an important opportunity period for China's industrial textiles industry to upgrade the level of industrial chain modernization and realize high-quality development. Intelligent manufacturing technologies such as industrial Internet, 5g and artificial intelligence will provide important technical support. In the future, the industry will focus on the following work in intelligent manufacturing.

   First, promote the development and application of advanced equipment. Continue to work with key equipment enterprises to break through the industry's shortcomings in advanced production lines and core equipment of production lines, improve the stability of equipment under high-speed operation, improve the digitization degree of equipment, vigorously promote the application of automation and digital equipment, and realize the automation of the whole production process.

   Second, vigorously promote the digital and network transformation of enterprises. Support the application of new technologies such as Internet of things, big data, 5g and artificial intelligence in the industry, promote the digitalization and networking transformation of key links of enterprises, accelerate the application of advanced digital equipment, online monitoring feedback system, intelligent warehousing logistics system, advanced manufacturing and management software system in the industry, and realize the digital management with "MES + ERP" as the main feature. We will promote the construction of digital chemical plants in the fields of nonwovens, medical and health textiles, geotechnical construction textiles, transportation textiles, flexible composite materials, belts and cables. At the end of the 14th five year plan, more than 70% of nonwovens enterprises have been transformed into digital and networked enterprises.

   Third, establish an industrial Internet demonstration platform. With the goal of shared design, collaborative manufacturing, quality traceability, supply and demand docking, we will promote the construction of regional and industrial industrial Internet platforms in the fields of personal protection and industrial filtering, develop industry-specific industrial app, improve the service capacity of industrial Internet and big data platform in the industrial cluster area, and improve the collaborative manufacturing ability and emergency response ability of the industrial chain.

   Fourth, promote the intelligent construction of nonwovens. To develop the simulation system of the key processes of nonwovens, such as spinning, drafting, web laying, spunlace, needling, etc., establish the big data model of nonwovens, and preliminarily build the intelligent capabilities characterized by process optimization, quality control, energy management and equipment maintenance.

   Fifthly, we will continue to promote industry enterprises to connect with high-quality intelligent manufacturing suppliers. We will continue to expand the team of intelligent equipment and software system suppliers, encourage suppliers to develop software systems with the characteristics of industrial textiles, which are low-cost and can be replicated and promoted, and help suppliers connect with industrial enterprises to promote solutions.

   Sixth, continue to carry out intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration work in the industry. Expand the scope of pilot enterprises, upgrade the pilot level, connect high-quality innovative resources and suppliers, support the pilot enterprises in product collaborative development, online quality testing, energy management, quality control and improvement, equipment predictive maintenance and other aspects of development, to form mature experience and mode, and promote in the industry.

   Seventh, increase the development and promotion of intelligent textiles. Develop flexible sensor technology, energy acquisition and storage technology and data transmission technology for smart textiles, and improve the reliability and consistency of flexible sensing materials. Develop and promote intelligent wearable products for sports, medical health, safety protection and other fields, expand the application of intelligent textiles in geotechnical, construction, filtration and other fields, and improve the ability of real-time quality monitoring and predictive maintenance.
