At that time, the fabrics with new expanded polyethylene (EPE) film will be used in many kinds of end use, such as leisure and pan outdoor clothing, leisure shoes and snow sports gloves Clothes & Accessories And equipment. These Gore partners include but are not limited to Adidas, Arc'teryx, Dakine, Patagonia, Reusch, Salomon and ziener.

GORE-TEX brand Expanded polyethylene (EPE) film

Based on decades of accumulated scientific knowledge and expertise in polymer field, Gore carefully studied and explored appropriate materials and processes, and finally made expanded polyethylene (EPE) into a strong and tough microporous material.

Gore's new expanded polyethylene (EPE) film:

It has high weight strength ratio (i.e. specific strength), and can be made into lightweight, thin and strong structure composite materials.

It has excellent durability, which can further reduce the impact on the environment.

It is combined with polyurethane (PU) to form a film with durable waterproof, wind resistance and high air permeability.

The results of higg MSI show that both expanded polyethylene (EPE) and light film weight can reduce the carbon footprint.

● meet the goal of Gore textiles Division: no pfcec in the life cycle of its mass consumer products, that is, PFC (perfluorinated compounds) that affect the environment.

Gore-Tex brand terminal products with new expanded polyethylene (EPE) film will continue the well-known promise of "keep you dry" of Gore-Tex brand. In addition, Gore will further expand the application scope of the new film, and apply it to more cooperative brands and terminal products.

*In accordance with Gore Textile Division Objective: to eliminate PFC (perfluorinated compounds) that affect the environment in the life cycle of their mass consumer products. Here, this is achieved by using non fluorinated materials.
