Jilin Textile And Clothing "14Th Five Year Plan" Development Planning Seminar Held In Jilin City

On October 28, the Forum on high quality development of textile and garment industry and the seminar on the "14th five year plan" development planning of Jilin Province, sponsored by China Textile Industry Federation and Jilin Provincial Department of industry and information technology, was held in Jilin City.

At the meeting, he Zhiliang, mayor of Jilin City, said that Jilin city is an important old industrial base city in China and the second largest city in Jilin Province. Huo Yan, director of Jilin Provincial Department of industry and information technology, said that as an industry with great development potential in Jilin Province, the next step is to speed up the improvement of quality and efficiency, transformation and upgrading, promote the work of strengthening chain, mending chain, extending chain, melting chain and building chain, and actively create professional wear, knitting socks industry, yarn fabrics and textile fiber raw materials with Jilin chemical fiber group as the core Industrial clusters.

At the meeting, Yue Fusheng, executive vice president and Secretary General of Jilin textile and Garment Association and deputy general manager of Jilin chemical fiber group, made a work report on the preparation of the 14th five year plan of Jilin province's textile and garment industry. According to the report, by the end of the 14th five year plan, the textile and garment industry in Jilin Province should achieve an annual output value of 50 billion yuan, an average annual growth of more than 20%, the contribution rate of innovation driven by 30%, the contribution rate of informatization and intelligence to 20%, and the contribution rate of brand and market traction to 15%.

Yue Fusheng said that in the target of 50 billion yuan of annual output value of textile and clothing industry, Jilin chemical fiber group will bear more than 40% of the share, of which the output value of carbon fiber industry will exceed 10 billion yuan.

It is understood that after years of development, the textile and clothing industry in Jilin Province has formed a relatively complete production system of chemical fiber, cotton textile, wool textile, clothing, industrial textiles and other categories. By the end of 2019, Jilin Province has 60 Textile Enterprises above Designated Size, with the production capacity of 16000 tons of carbon fiber precursor, 68000 tons of viscose filament, 380000 tons of acrylic fiber and 3.5 billion pairs of socks.
