　　 Li Lingshen, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation At the meeting, the basic situation of the science and Technology Education Award of China Textile Industry Federation in 2019 was introduced. He said that in order to better adapt to the new situation of national science and technology system and science and technology award reform, encourage original and subversive technology, give play to the leading role of scientific and technological innovation, further improve the quality level of textile science and Technology Award and create the brand of textile science and Technology Award, the textile science and technology award of 2019 has been greatly adjusted and the award structure has been further improved. First, the Technological Invention Award (the first and second prizes) has been added; the second is that the "mulberry and hemp scholar" will be included in the selection of China Textile Federation's science and technology awards and renamed as the Special Contribution Award (mulberry and hemp scholars); the third is to adjust the three levels of the science and technology progress award to two levels of the first and second prizes. So far, the science and technology award of China Textile Industry Federation has formed the award system of Technological Invention Award, science and Technology Progress Award and special contribution award (mulberry and hemp scholars).

　　 In 2019, the textile science and technology award awarded 6 technological invention awards, including 2 first prizes and 4 second prizes; 77 science and technology progress awards, including 15 first prizes and 62 second prizes; and 4 special contribution Awards (mulberry and hemp scholars). This year, the proportion of science and technology awards awarded has been greatly reduced to only 48%, which is much lower than the 60% in previous years, and the "gold content" has been significantly improved.

　　 From the perspective of award-winning projects, they mainly have the following characteristics: first, the breakthrough of high-performance and functional fiber and its application technology; second, the iterative upgrading of digital and intelligent key technologies in the industry; third, green energy-saving and environmental protection has become the unremitting pursuit of scientific and technological innovation; fourth, standards and collaborative innovation have become an important embodiment and innovation form of scientific and technological innovation achievements.
