ETPU Key Technology To Fill Gaps In China Through Identification

The key technology development and industrialization of polyurethane foam microsphere (ETPU) project adopts supercritical CO2 fluid pressure foaming technology and pressure compensation new technology to solve the problem of easy hydrolysis and easy yellowing of polyester TPU at high temperature, and prepare light weight and smooth surface ETPU foamed beads. The self-developed moulds and steam molding technology are used to produce environment-friendly ETPU molding materials, which are applied to the high resilience shoe material fields such as midsole, insole and plug-in of sports shoes. The products have better performance than those of international similar products in terms of elastic modulus, tensile strength, tear strength, elongation at break, and dynamic energy feedback. After questioning and discussion, the group agreed and agreed that the project results were innovative and advanced, and its technology and products filled the domestic blank, and the overall technology reached the international advanced level.
ETPU shoe material (also known as popcorn sole) has the advantages of excellent performance, high efficiency, environmental protection and melting and recycling. The successful cooperation between the Ningbo Institute of materials technology and engineering and the shoemaking enterprises of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has broken through and solved many key technical problems in the industrialization of polyester ETPU shoe materials, and applied high and new technologies with independent intellectual property rights to actual production, greatly enhanced the production technology level of domestic shoe materials and the competitiveness of the international high-end sports shoes market, creating remarkable economic and social benefits, and becoming the plastics processing industry in China.
