The Executive Committee of the European Union said in April 25th that over 2000 products imported last year touched early warning systems, mostly toys and clothing.

Mainland China is the first source country of dangerous goods, and dangerous imports of up to 62% come from the mainland.

The EU executive committee announced on Monday that the statistics on dangerous goods alerts for imports last year showed that in 2015, 2072 imported goods touched the Rapid Alert System (RAPEX) of the European industrial product safety supervision agency, and another 2745 imported products were required to be tested further.

In 2015, 27% of the imported goods were issued with quick warning and warning, 17% were toys.

Textiles and popular goods.

The main reason for the failure of products is chemical risk, including excessive lead.

The mainland is the most important source country for dangerous imports. 62% of the dangerous imports seized by the European Union last year were from mainland China.

Since the European Union launched the early warning system in 2003, more than 10 thousand dangerous imported goods have been seized.

Vera Jourova, executive director of justice, consumption and gender equality, said that the purpose of the rapid warning system is to assist the consumer protection authorities to quickly remove dangerous goods from the European Union in order to protect consumers.

According to EU rules, all Member States will follow up early warning alerts as soon as any member states of the European Union issue a quick warning alert to a commodity.

Last May, the rapid alert system issued a statement that "made in China" has been ranked the most insecure product in the EU.

But Chohova also admits that with the increasingly developed online shopping, goods directly delivered to consumers, and large sales of mainland goods, it is a great challenge to the rapid early-warning system.

According to statistics, 65% of European consumers will go shopping through the Internet. Over the past 10 years, the number of Internet users has increased by 27%.

In addition, the OECD recently released the latest research report that China is the main source of counterfeit goods worldwide, accounting for 63.2% of the world's total, and it is more than 20 times the second of Turkey's 3.3%.
