China Feather Down Industry Association Survey: Quality Of Online Down Products Is Worrying.

A few days ago, the China feather and down Industry Association announced that in order to strengthen the quality supervision and control of the down products and maintain the order of online feather and down products market, the China feather industry association has sampled 40 pieces of products on Tmall and Taobao during this year's "double 11" period.

And 20 down quilts, the test results showed that the qualified rate of down garments was 55%, and the percentage of down quilts was only 5%.

The sampling inspection is mainly aimed at the down jacket / search results which are on the top of Tmall and Taobao. All products are purchased anonymously by the association during the double 11 period, and are checked by the domestic feather down testing laboratory, the inspection and Quarantine Laboratory of Zhejiang entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

Down jacket is based on the GB/T 14272-2011 down garment. The feather and down quilt is judged by the QB/T 1193-2012 feather down quilt. The sampling items include composition analysis, fluffiness, cleanliness, oxygen consumption, filling amount and type identification (product marked goose down).

In unqualified down garments, 9 are mainly filled with flying silk, feather silk and ground poultry feather (chicken feather). They can not be called down garments, accounting for 22.5% of the total sample, of which 2 products are seriously below the standard of cleanliness.

Among the unqualified quilts, 17 are mainly filled with flying silk, feather silk, Lu Qinmao, wool and chemical fiber cotton, which can not be called down quilt, accounting for 85% of the total sample.

These serious counterfeit products not only have no thermal insulation, easy to drill down, but also cause allergic and respiratory diseases, which will bring adverse effects to consumers' health.

In recent years, the quality of China's down products has been facing great challenges, especially in the lack of regulatory network market, and quality problems are highlighted.

China feather industry association said,

The association and relevant institutions have the responsibility to supervise the down market and have the obligation to safeguard the market order of the down industry.

In 2014, during the double 11 and double 12 period, the China Badminton Association conducted two quality checks on Tmall and Taobao's down garments. The pass rates were 23.7% and 36.7%, respectively, which shocked the media and the public and aroused great repercussions in the society.

From the results of the sampling survey this year, the quality of Tmall and Taobao's down products is still worrying, especially the 5% of the down quilts.

How to effectively improve the quality of down products, so that consumers can rest assured that online shopping has become an urgent problem for quality supervision departments and e-commerce platforms.

At present, the domestic market has no shortage of good quality down products.

The middle feather Association solemnly recommends to consumers the brand that wears the feather and down products reputation guarantee mark, and makes solemn promise to consumers, which bears joint liability for the products of the label. If the price is two, consumers can buy it at ease.

This year, the China Badminton Association upgraded the anti counterfeiting technology to the credit guarantee logo of down products, and realized the function of "promoting genuine goods and attacking counterfeit and inferior products".

Therefore, to buy down products, consumers are required to recognize the logo products of feather and down products.
