In December 18th, the fifth member congress of Guangdong apparel and apparel industry association was held in Yuanzhou Town, Boluo County, Huizhou.

The meeting was amended according to the regulations issued by the provincial civil society organization Bureau (Guangdong [2011]53) on the issuance of guidelines for the general election of the trade associations of the province.

The General Assembly elected Zhu Minqi, vice chairman of Boluo Yuzhou textile and garment industry association, Li Lingtian, Secretary General of Junan textile and clothing trade association, and vice president of Xiaolan Town chamber of Commerce, Zhongshan, Europe, etc., three supervisors for the new Council.

The General Assembly elected the director, President and vice president of the fifth member congress.

The nomination of the new president, vice president and Council member of the association has been approved by the ten Council of the four session. The nominated candidates have broad representation and are keen to support and actively participate in various activities of the association, including leading enterprises in various industrial clusters, leading enterprises in garment industry, leading enterprises in various clothing categories and listed companies.

Vice president election results: Liu Yueping was elected president of the new term, Bu Xiaoqiang and other 44 people were elected vice presidents, Wang Guo Bin, Wang Shuxiong and other 147 people were elected directors.

In the fifth session of the first Council held in the same period, President Liu Yueping read out the results of the appointment of the new secretary general, assistant to the president, deputy secretary general and senior consultant.

Wang Jia was appointed as the new secretary general. He was assistant to President of HUAWEI. Ye Yili and Cai Zhiqiang were deputy secretaries general. He hired Liu Yang, Li Kailuo, Yang Zhenxun, Shu Haibo, Cai Minqiang and other 5 senior advisors as consultants.

The proposal for the establishment of the branch of the association has been deliberated and approved. The fifth member congress will set up children's wear branch, accessories Branch, red cotton fashion dress branch and professional manager branch.

Li Jianbo, deputy director of the Guangdong provincial non-governmental organization authority, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Secretary Li gave positive affirmation to the work of the association and made important guidance for the healthy development of the association in the future.

The secretary general made a brief analysis of the domestic and international trade situation, and made important guidance for the development of Guangdong's clothing industry and the construction of the association.

At the end of the conference, Liu Yueping delivered his inaugural address.

Liu Yueping said that with the support of senior advisors, vice presidents and directors, the Guangdong Institute of fashion designers will continue to work hard to make all the work possible.

In the future, we will focus on three main tasks: first, we should grasp the construction of several sub committees, promote the integration of resources, explore new business models, and promote the development of various professional fields based on the branch; two, do well the base construction, realize the advantages of resource gathering based on the platform, and pform the power to lead the development of the industry; three, we should enhance the soft power upgrading project, and take the industrial research and Guangdong fashion week as the leading role to help Guangdong.
