Textile Workers Wages And Other Industries

A survey by the India Federation of industry and Commerce (ASSOCHAM) said that higher wage jobs are attracting textile workers to other fast growing industries from the textile industry, resulting in a shortage of domestic textile and garment industry. The textile and garment industry is facing the challenge of recruiting more workers to meet production needs.

Nearly 45% of respondents said that due to labor shortages, their capacity utilization was only 50-60%, while about 30% of respondents said their profits were shrinking because they could not meet sales targets.

The online and telephone survey was conducted last week, and 100 textile companies were interviewed.

D S Rawat, the Secretary General of the association, said

value chain

All sectors of the sector are short of labor, from cotton to branding and retailing. The textile industry must pay higher wages, provide health insurance, and ensure that factories comply with internationally recognized standards.

Mr. Rawat added that most mobile workers earn about 7000 rupees per month. After the planting season ends, they enter the city from the agricultural sector for half a year, and when the harvest season begins, they return to the countryside.

But the government's successful social sector plan is preventing mobile labor from entering the urban areas from rural areas.

In order to protect domestic industries from damage to Chinese goods at low prices, India is importing China.

Sewing needle

An anti-dumping duty is imposed, and 155362 rupees per 10 million sewing needles.

The India tax bureau said that

Anti-dumping

The tax will be maintained for 5 years from the date of the levy, unless it is replaced, cancelled or amended before the expiry date.

After an anti dumping and joint tariff administration (DGAD) proposal by an organization under the Ministry of Commerce, India began to impose anti-dumping duties.

In its in-depth study, DGAD pointed out that cheap goods from China have seriously affected domestic industries.

India has imposed anti-dumping duties on imports of nylon tires, fabrics, yarns and other chemicals. Although the Ministry of Commerce has proposed tax proposals, the Ministry of finance will actually implement tariff collection.
