The job satisfaction rate of Wuhan's more than 10 garment processing industries is only 60% this year. Xiangyang's large and medium-sized textile enterprises generally lack more than 500 workers, and the textile and garment industry in Huangshi and Xiantao reach 18 thousand to 7 thousand workers respectively, accounting for more than half of the total number of workers in the local enterprises.


The phenomenon of shortage of workers mainly exists in private enterprises with low technology content, high energy consumption and low cost. In particular, labor-intensive small enterprises are more difficult to recruit workers because of their strong labor intensity, low wages, poor working environment and poor working conditions.


Structural contradictions are still outstanding.


For the central provinces with a population of about 60000000, tens of millions of migrant workers go out to work every year, and hundreds of thousands of university graduates apply for jobs, Hubei's labour force has always been oversupplied.

In recent years, our province has encountered the embarrassment of shortage of labor frequently. Does it mean that the pattern of oversupply of labor has changed?


The survey shows that skilled workers in the market account for only 20% of the total number of job seekers, but most companies want to directly use the experienced personnel to form supply differences.

In particular, the shortage of highly skilled personnel, such as CNC machine tools, machinery and equipment operators, electricians, welders and other technical personnel, has a large market demand, but few applicants.

At present, the gender ratio of labor supply in our province is roughly the same, but the demand for women in the human resource market reaches 65%, especially in the catering and textile and garment industries, mainly in the recruitment of women. There is a certain dislocation in supply and demand. The catering industry in Wuhan has lost 33% of its labor rate.


Regarding this, Dong Changqi, director of the employment promotion and unemployment insurance Department of the provincial people's social office, believes that the current employment situation is still very serious in the future and in the coming period.

Structural contradictions

Coexist.

On the one hand, it will face the basic structure and huge employment pressure of oversupply of labour for a long time. On the other hand, it will also face more complicated structural contradictions.


Rely on market to solve "labor shortage"


At present, the phenomenon of "labor shortage" in some industries and enterprises in our province is mainly due to structural and frictional contradictions rather than total contradictions.

Li Xiangquan, director of the rural employment office of the provincial employment and employment administration, believes that the solution to the problem of "labor shortage" must be resolved through market means.


Li Xiangquan believes that enterprises should optimize the employment environment and attract retain talents.

The government should optimize the structure of talents, strengthen the training of skilled personnel, and create a social atmosphere of respecting talents and advocating skills.

Optimize employment services and create conditions for both sides of labor relations.

We should optimize the concept of employment and achieve the allocation of labor force as soon as possible.

Guide enterprises to appropriately reduce employment standards and avoid gender discrimination according to the demand and supply of talent in the market; on the other hand, guide job seekers, especially secondary and technical secondary school graduates, to update their concept of employment, understand the market situation in time, avoid excessive employment expectations and improve the success rate of employment.
