Textile Employment In 12Th Five-Year

Wang Tiankai, vice president of China Textile Industry Association, said that the biggest challenge facing China's textile industry at present is unbalanced, uncoordinated and unsustainable development.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, we should change the mode of production which relies excessively on resource consumption, strengthen resource recovery and utilization, and speed up development.

Low carbon

Green and recyclable economy will be an important point in changing the way of development of China's textile industry.

Reporters learned from the China Textile Industry Association today that the current stage of China's economic development is characterized by industrialization, urbanization, marketization, internationalization and informatization, among which urbanization is most closely related to China's textile industry.

In 1978, China's urbanization rate reached 15%, now more than 46%.

As far as China's textile industry is concerned, urbanization will promote the development of three industries, such as clothing, home textile and industry.

In addition, the employment problem is a major problem in China's future economic development. After the financial crisis, the three positioning of the textile industry is very important: traditional pillar industries, important livelihood industries and industries with international competitive advantages. Therefore, the textile industry will play an important role in solving the employment problem in the future national economic development.

It is emphasized that while seeing the opportunities facing the textile industry, we must also see the challenges and constraints faced by the industry in the future development.

From the international perspective, the international financial crisis has far-reaching effects, the endogenous impetus for the recovery of the world economy is insufficient, and the continuous growth of external demand will be difficult. At the same time, some developing countries are also using the advantage of lower cost of production factor to compete for the international market. The appreciation of RMB and the increase of trade friction will also bring pressure to the textile export enterprises.

In addition, from the domestic point of view, China has entered the development period of land, raw material and labor production cost rising continuously, and the growth mode of traditional textile economy is facing new challenges.

Wang Tiankai revealed that the average growth rate of China's textile fiber processing in the new century is the world's textile industry.

fibre

The average output growth is 3.4 times that of the total fiber processing industry.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, green and recyclable economy will be the focus of the pformation of China's textile industry.
