The mood of the market is extremely bearish because most spot buyers take a wait-and-see attitude, and only a few buyers maintain the minimum purchase to meet their immediate demand, market sources said.
An industrial unit said: "sales are quite low, we can not imagine that the downstream industry is really demand."

The spot price dropped by 50-80 US dollars / ton (41-65 euro / ton) to 2800-2850 US dollars / ton CFR China price, which is due to weak market sentiment, ICIS (international chemical information consulting organization) data show.
In mainland China and Taiwan, the caprolactam feed market continued to spiral downward, as traders continued to sign agreement on land price, and the paction price fell to the lowest level in three months this week.
In June 23rd, the price of caprolactam decreased by 50-170 US dollars / ton, to 2350-2380 US dollars / ton CFR Taiwan price, 2330-2380 US dollars / ton CFR Chinese mainland price, 2350-2450 US dollars / ton CFR Northeast Asia price.
